So here we go, it's Race for Life again!
A widget has, miraculously, appeared in my sidebar for anyone wishing to make donations, but please know that I don't expect much. I know that everyone is having a tough time in the world right now, and every penny counts.
However, If everyone that reads this blog just sponsored £2 then I would easily double, and quite possibly treble my target.
To this end, and to encourage people to sponsor less that the cost of a pint of beer, anyone who comments with a link to their own raceforlife sponsor page before midnight on valentines day (errr UK Time!!!) will get a £2 sponsorship from me. I will limit this to the first 20 people, just in case you all go mad! The reason for the early deadline is to get you to register and commit to doing this years race. You don't have to run it, walking, jogging, anything is fine!
Go on, what are you waiting for? Sign up here
edited to add: I will make all the donations together on Feb 15th or thereaboouts otherwise I may end up confusing myself!

I just ventured upon this site and thought I'd share! It has some very obvious suggestions, but also some not so obvious ones, and even more useful, a recipe tab, where you search by left-over ingredients! What a great idea!

It snowed!
I know that for most people in the country, these pictures are not particularly exciting. But these are for an old school friend, who having moved back home to Hong Kong, misses our English Winters. (Bearing in mind how cold our old school building could be I am surprised “missing” is an appropriate word, but still it is one she uses, not one I have foisted upon her! ) So, here for all those who have missed a good winter………..
The Hill at Newlands Corner looking Left towards Albury and Shere (ish!!)
Spot got a bit chilly while I was trying to be artistic!!!
Standing on the Hill at Newlands corner looking right, back towards Merrow/Guildford
The path squeaked as only proper snow can!
And what you do when it’s all over and your tired and happy:-
