I don't suppose many of you want or need to know this, but I want to put the details somewhere so I can find it again.
1st Sasso x L..Sussex cockerel, culled at 11 1/2 weeks
1.2kilo (~ approx 2lb10oz) oven ready weight.
provided (for me only) 2 roast dinners, 2 nights of chicken casserole, stock and soup
Thats interesting. We tend to alwys eat too much with one chicken and ought to be more thrifty.
ReplyDeleteThat's really good. I chicken=4 meals plus some extras to freeze. In these times that is a good way to go
